#1: We Are The Salt Of The Earth

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. (Matthew 5:13)

#2: We Are The Light Of The World

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 5:14-16)

ACTION STEPS

Step #1:  Make The Messenger Match The Message 

Salt has to be salty in order to be potent.  A bright light

lightup a room.  We can’t be land salt or dull light if we 

want to have maximum impact. 

Step #2:  Make Contact

We must touch the object of our influence by rubbing 

shoulders with people. 

Step #3:  Live Life As A Church Family

When we stick together we have a greater impact.  When 

light is focused it is brightest and most powerful.  When 

salt is packed tightly and sprinkled over food it enhances 

the flavor.  God designed His church to be on mission 

together.
